Job Opportunity: Part-Time Operations Assistant at Kokokini
Are you passionate about body positivity and creativity? Do you want to be part of a swimwear brand that is changing the narrative for how we view our bodies? We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Operations Assistant that wants to be a part of growing a business!
About Us:
At Kokokini, we believe that swimwear should empower everyone, regardless of shape or size. We only use everyday women to model our swimwear because we want to normalise how women’s bodies actually look! We also don’t edit or photoshop our images, everything you see is real & raw. Launching in December 2022 Kokokini has had fantastic growth & we’re now looking for our next superstar to help take it to the next level.
Position Overview:
This part-time role starting December 2024 (which will develop into Fulltime as the business grows) offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our founder on a variety of exciting projects. You’ll be involved in everything from packing orders and coordinating launch events to brainstorming design concepts and creating social media content. Your creativity and ideas will help shape the future of our brand!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with packing and shipping orders
- Processing returns/ Exchanges
- Helping customers instore & online
- Uphold our customer first ethos
- Help organize and execute launch events and photoshoots
- Collaborate on design concepts and product development
- Plan and promote events that align with our brand values
- Create engaging content for social media accounts
- Brainstorm new ideas to enhance our product offerings and community engagement
- Work closely with founder to grow brand.
Qualifications:
- Passion for body positivity and inclusivity
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Creative mindset with a knack for social media
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in retail, marketing, or event planning is a plus, but not required
- Capable of working autonomously
- Has a can do attitude & willingness to take initiative.
